Pinoy B-Boy (Philippine Breakdance Documentary) Film Free Screening

Please come join us for a special free screening of the TEST VERSION of "Pinoy B-boy", a feature-length documentary directed by Pawi Bitanga about the underground break dance subculture within the Philippines!

This test version will run just over an hour long and will not exactly resemble the final cut still scheduled to be released in 2011. The point of the screening is to:

1) Draw constructive and intelligent input from the vi...ewers
2) Gain exposure for the film and the b-boys featured
3) Pitch the film and its b-boys to potential sponsors

After the movie is screened, we will be having a LIVE B-BOY BATTLE AMONG THOSE FEATURED IN THE FILM AND MORE TO BE JUDGED BY B-BOYS FROM RIVERS CREW KOREA AND HOSTED BY PROFO WON FROM THE USA! YOU DON'T WANNA MISS THIS!

Here's a brief synopsis:

But are you familiar with Tolo of the mighty Funk Roots? Have you ever looked back at Battle krew videos of J-Masta? Stretch? Did you see Reflex at the R16 World Championships in Korea? Does Killa-04 ring a bell? Or even Haslah from Marikina City?

What first began as an underground street movement in the Bronx, New York has now evolved into a global phenomenon. Every country in the world has b-boys now. Every country has their own urban legend. This is ours.
