Putrillo

Putrillo is a dance that dates back to the days of the Spanish occupation in the Philippines. It is a courtship dance from Jaro, Leyte depicting the meeting of lovers after the boy has given a pair of earrings to the girl, who wears them at the tryst in order to show him her appreciation of his lovely gift.
