Willie Bounce

The Willie Bounce is a dance, commonly performed to Reggae music in which the dancer takes a large stance and bounces up and down the beat while leaning into one leg (knee bending) and taking a small step up and down with the opposite foot. As the dancer leans to one side, the opposite shoulder and elbow bounce in front of the body. This move is reversed and repeated from side to side. The Willie Bounce was created by the Jamaican dancehall star, Bogle, and is the subject of Dance Will Never Die, the song by Elephant Man.
