Dance Pinoy got it's roots back in 2007 as a Public profile in Friendster that gives information about dance contests in Metro Manila. DancePinoy.com website was officially launched in 2009 aiming to bring Filipino dance artists of different fields together in one community. There was a hiatus of activities as the founder migrated to South Korea in 2012.
