Slimmers World's Step Up Philippines 2 Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Open to all STUDENT DANCE GROUPS with the following qualifications:

-10-16 members; mix of male & female.No gender ratio required.
-16 to 22 years old, currently enrolled in SY 2012-2013
-Physically fit & within the ideal body weight

REQUIREMENTS

INTERESTED GROUPS must submit the following to any SLIMMERS WORLD CENTERS nationwide:

1. Duly accomplished ENTRY FORM and WAIVER with

a. Photocopy of each member’s Birth Certificate
b. Photocopy of each member’s VALID School ID

2. Complete list of members and Group Name (in one paper)

3. Video of the group’s dance routine

a. Maximum duration of 5 minutes only
b. Routine used for screening SHOULD BE DIFFERENT from the routine during Grand Finals.

DEADLINE OF APPLICATION IS ON JULY 20, 2012

COMPETITION MECHANICS

1. The group’s dance routine during the GRAND FINALS must be a mixed of 4 dance types: (1) STREETDANCE (2) JAZZ (3) HIPHOP and (4) FREESTYLE.

2. Stunts which involve throwing/tossing a member up in the air is strictly prohibited.

3. The routine during the Grand Finals must incorporate a part of the Official Slimmers World Jingle.

4. TIME DURATION: 3 to 4 minutes with the inclusion of SWI Jingle. Excess in time will be deducted accordingly.

5. Use of props and accessories are allowed but mus be with prior approval from the Organizers.

6. Judges’ decisions are final and irrevocable.

PhP 25,000.00 cash + Trophy + Medals + Gift Packs & 5,000 worth of Gift Certificates
