Diego 
this 
year ,
as 
it 
will
 be 
one 
of 
the 
largest 
South 
Asian
Festivals
 in 
the 
Nation.
The 
3‐day 
event 
will 
take 
place 
starting
 April
21st 
with
 a 
spectacular 
and
exclusive
 Bollywood 
Fashion 
Show, 
followed 
by 
several 
events
 such
 as: 
Bollywood 
Dance
Workshops,
 a 
South
 Asian 
Comedy 
Show 
on 
April
22nd ,
and 
finally 
the
 closing 
highly 
anticipated
event, 
the 
National
 Dance
 Team 
Competition, 
which 
will 
take 
place 
at 
the 
Copley 
Symphony 
Hall.
The 
final 
event
 will 
be 
aired 
on
 the 
Sony 
Entertainment
 Television
 Network.

Bollywood 
America 
is 

not‐for‐profit 
organization 
that 
has

roots 
in 
the 
South 
Asian 
community

across 
the 
nation.
The 
organization 
has 
made 
it 
mission
 to 
increase 
awareness 
in 
both

and
national
 communities 
through 
the

platforms: 

Education, 
Fine
Arts, 
and 
Community
Outreach.

Bollywood

organization’s 
mission

to 
emphasize 
the 
importance

platforms

loca l
communities, 
but

on 
a
national 
level.
The

has

teamed

the
 National 
Bone 
Marrow 
Program 
in 
order 
to 
set
up 
booths 
fo r
individuals 
to 
sign
up 
to 
be 
a 
possible
 donor 
for 
those 
in 
need 
of 
bone 
marrow. 
The 
South 
Asian
 community 
has 
seen 
a 
lack
 of 
resources
for 
the se
types 
of
 medical
 conditions,
 and 
Bollywood 
America
 wanted 
to 
bring 
this 
to 
light 
through
 Education
 & 
Community 
Service. 
Bollywood 
America 
will 
be 
giving 
part 
of
 the 
proceeds 
from 
the
money
 raised
 at
 the 
events 
for 
this 
cause 
to 
promote 
research 
and 
to 
find
 a 
cure 
for 
those
suffering 
from 
such
 ailments.

Bollywood

 expected 
to

sold‐out 
event 
that 
will 
have 
international
 designers,

choreographers,
as 
well
 as 
fashion
 and 
entertainment 
professionals

will
