DANCE TO THE MUSIC! Battle Mechanics

1. There are 20 Guest Battlers

2. A preselection will be held to choose 12 out of the maximum of 100 contestants to join the 20 guest battlers to complete the top 32 who will go against each other in the battle proper. In the preselection, a one minute random music will be played by the DJ depending on the specific style the contender has chosen.

...3. Top 32 contenders will draw lots to determine the battle sequence and who faces off with who.

4. Top 32-Top 16: 1 round (1 minute per battler) of random music played by the DJ, depending on the style of each contender.

5. Top 8 down to FINALS: 2 rounds (1 minute per battler) will be given to each pair of battler.

6. The music that will be played on each battle consisting of 2 rounds, will not be random. The first round favors the music selected by the first battler, while the second round favors the music selected by the second battler.
For example for the first round, battler 1 can use it as an advantage to use his specific style against the contender because of his choice of the music. When it is battler 2’s turn, it is not necessary that he battles with the same style employed by battler 1. He can interpret the music using his own style. Same goes to second round. This time, it is battler 2’s turn to have the music to his prerogative.

7. Judges will choose the winner in favor to who they think danced to the music the best. In case of a tie, the DJ will play a random music of his choice for a tie-breaker round. Judges will choose from then on.

8. The winner will receive a brand new BEATS STUDIO BY DR. DRE. And besides that, unlimited bragging rights and respect as a top DANCER IN THE COMMUNITY.

9. But its not about winning anyways right..? Bring your A-game because everyone's gonna do their best, Share the LOVE and See you all there!

Registration for preselections starts at 4pm and ends at 6:30 pm. Please be on time :D

IF YOU ARE JOINING THE BATTLE PLEASE BRING A USB OR CD(not ipod) or PM ME A PLAYLIST OF 5 SONGS OF YOUR CHOICE. THIS WILL BE USED IN THE BATTLE, THE BATTLE TYPE IS YOUR MUSIC (YOU) vs THEIR MUSIC (WHO YOU'RE BATTLING WITH).

NO JUMPING OFF THE ROOF! :D
