Dear Friends and Followers:
The purpose of this letter is to formally invite you, to join our fun advocacy movement. THRILL THE WORLD is a volunteer non-profit movement founded in 2006 by Inez Markeljevic of Toronto, Canada from the love of music, dance, art and culture to celebrate the extraordinary life and music of Michael Jackson.
It is an Annual Worldwide Simultaneous dance of Michael Jackson's “Thriller”. It is now in its 6th year and is an official World Record Global Event. The dancers perform in unison at locations throughout the world, and can range from an eclectic mix of MJ fans, flash mobbers, off-beat veterans, young mega talents and volunteers of all ages, family, friends and other local residents who committed themselves to service giving in a 100% voluntary capacity. Since 2006, people gathered in all cities over the world, wearing zombie costumes to do the iconic “Thriller” dance routine at exactly the same time across world time zones. We wish to stress that this Fun-Dance in no way endorses a belief in the occult; it is plainly for World Record, Fun and Charity. The iconic dance “Thriller” will continue to be the organization’s signature community fundraising event.
We will lead the event for the second time in our country! We are dancing to give back something to make a difference. It is a “FUN-DANCE for A CAUSE” to raise awareness and funds for causes and charities. It is one of our visionary ways of uniting all people who can often times see differences and forget that it is truly our hearts and our souls that join us together as people. Our religious affiliation, skin color, financial status, political beliefs and other ways we may be different from one another should not be areas that divide us as people. We believe that through instrumentality of music and dance, we can break down any walls that often divide us from others, thus coming closer to build a new youth, strong families, and positive communities. It is a FAMILY and GROUP FRIENDLY EVENT.
We need leaders like you who want to make a difference. No experience required! No age limit! Everyone who participates can be a DANCER or a STAFF VOLUNTEER, with no monetary gain. All promotional events are NO-PROFIT and exist by donations! Money is raised to cover the cost and raised for charity. We strongly believe in our responsibility as stewards of a public trust.

If you decide that being a committee and or volunteer member is a commitment you would like to make, we would be delighted to hear from you.
