RULES & CRITERIA FOR COMPETITION– ELIMINATIONS
Only one (1) group may represent a school. In the event that more than one group from the same school would like to join the competition, the involved parties must secure endorsement from the Office of Student Affairs or counterpart body that their group is the official entry of the school.
** Groups are allowed to change or add to their line up of dancers for the competition provided the organizer is informed 2 weeks prior to their elimination schedule by submitting a formal letter stating the reason for the line-up change. New members must submit the same requirements required during the registration (i.e. photocopy of school Id (front and back), photocopy of enrolment form, and letter of approval from the group moderator or school administrator)
*** In the event that a group suffers an injury less than 2 weeks prior to the competition, the group may replace the injured member provided the organizer is given a medical certificate and original copies of requirements. No group will be allowed to perform if they do not meet the required minimum of 10 members.
****Any complaint regarding competing groups will be entertained by the organizer provided said concern is formalized through a letter stating basis for the complaint. Any group found to have violated any ruling such as submitting falsified documents will be disqualified from the competition and necessary legal actions will be applied.
