Udsaka

This dance is a fine example of the dances of the little-known tribe, the Arumanon of Midsayap, North Cotabato. Performed only by girls, this is commonly performed during festivals and as a highlight in the Kenduri ritual (thanksgiving after a bountiful harvest). It is a simple imitation of a flying bird executed through the graceful flapping motions of the extended arms.
