Pinal-laiyan (also called Talokatik by the lowland Tingguians and Sinuklit by the eastern Tingguians) is a traditional dance performed by a male and a female dancer and four percussionists. It is one of the many Tadek dances performed on happy occasions such as weddings and festivals, to welcome important guests or to celebrate a bountiful harvest. This dance is common among the lowland and Southern Tingguians of Abra.
The dancers are dressed in the traditional Tingguian costume. Boys wear red, blue and gold loincloth or g-string. Girls wear a red checkered blouse called balwasi and a white skirt called piningitan.
