Lauderes is a dance dedicated to a couple soon to be a bride and groom during pamanhikan (the family of the man meets the family of the woman and makes wedding arrangements). This was performed by the early Filipinos of Janiuay, Iloilo as part of their courtship and wedding customs. Females wear patadyang, camisa or kimona while males wear barong tagalog and any colored trousers.
