Igal Ha Taal Patung originated in Simunel, Tawi-Tawi. Igal Ha Taal Patung is also known as Pamansak (courtship dance), a breathtaking demonstration usually performed as a pas de deux (dance for two), one female and one male, or pas de trois (dance for three, one female and one male, where the males alternately perform a martial dance Pangasilo and the female dancer is lowered on the ground from the top of a twin bamboo poles until the dance reaches a fitting climax with the female dancer returning to her bamboo "perch" and being carried away.
