Daling-Daling is a famous courtship dance which means "My Love, My Love". It is popular among the young people of Jolo, Sulu. This dance is also enjoyed by the audience since they can take part in the performance while singing with the dancers. The music is composed in one-sixteenth measure and is repeated as many times as necessary.
Typical Joloano costumes are worn by the dancers with an open fan in each hand, holding it with their second and third fingers on the top side and the thumb, fourth and little fingers on the other side.
While the music plays and everyone sings, dancers are paired standing about six feet apart from each other both facing front, with the girl at the right side. Any number of couples may take part in this dance.
