Bindian is a victory dance performed by the Ibalois of Kabayan to commemorate the courage of warriors of bygone days. A line is formed with instrumentalists at the head, followed by the men then the women. Downward hand movements that suggest the dancers’ affinity with the earth are made as they stamp with the left foot and move the right foot forward in a light motion.
